Networking community for Life Science Professionals.
In the 21st century, careers are made through networking. Where does one find such a network? Where to begin building one? Life Science Groningen is a new networking community by Life Science professionals for Life Science professionals.
I have taken it on myself to set-up this networking community.
Duties include (but not limited to):
Recruiting members.
Organizing networking events.
Writing and distributing a newsletter.
Designing and building a website.
Spread awareness of the new community.

Maintaining an open communication with all the stakeholders in the Seattle postdoc community. Serve to benefit the development of postdocs at UW by organizing social – and networking events.
Nominated and elected to lead the society as secretary together with two chairs.
Coordinated workshops/seminars to develop members of the postdoctoral community.
Organized successful networking and social events, leading to an increase of volunteers.
Maintained the online identity of the association on social media, leading to an increased recognition of the society on campus.
